Liquid Chocolate FAQ - What to do if the chocolate is running down one side of the fountain only, breaking up on the other side?
What to do if the chocolate is running down one side of the fountain only, breaking up on the other side?
There could be 2 reasons and solutions for this to happen.
- There may be a dipping food fallen at the bottom of the fountain tower, which causes a blockage at the top of the fountain stopping flow. Turn the fountain off and remove the fallen dipping food, then switch the fountain on again.
- The fountain my not be levelled. Turn the fountain off to avoid spillage. Adjust the legs at the bottom to ensure the top of the fountain is level. Alternatively, place cardboard or folded napkin pads under the fountain or table leg(s) on the side the chocolate is flowing to raise that side. Ensure the fountain is stable and will not slip off the padding. Check to see if there are any fallen dipping food at the bottom of the tower, and remove.
